Intervate Website Terms and Conditions
As per Section 11(3) of the Electronic Communications and Transactions (ECT) Act, these terms and conditions are binding and enforceable for all who access any part of the Intervate Web site. Should you not agree to these terms and conditions, please note that further use of the Intervate Web site will automatically bind you to these terms and conditions.
1. Allowed use and License
a. Users are allowed to view, print and download all content displayed on the Intervate Web site. However, this is on the proviso that this content is referenced to Intervate and used for personal and non-commercial purposes
b. Content from the Intervate Web site should not be used for commercial purposes without the written consent from Intervate
c. Users may only access Intervate's Web site to conduct legal operations
d. If the content on Intervate's Web site is wrongfully utilised, Intervate:
i) Reserves the right to claim damages from the user
ii) Reserves the right to lay a criminal charge against the user
iii) Shall not be liable for any damage, loss or liability resulting from the use of content obtained in breach of these terms and conditions
e. All hyperlinks to the Intervate Web site should be directed to the home page. Anyone linking to a page other than the home page does so at their own risk
f. No-one - with the exception of recognised search engine operators - may search or copy content from the Intervate Web site without the consent of Intervate
2. Intellectual property rights and domain name use
a. All intellectual property displayed on the Intervate Web site is the property of Intervate and therefore protected by local and international legislation.

4. Changes and amendments
a. Intervate reserves the right to, at its discretion, undertake any of the following, for any time period and without notice:

d. Remove any area or function of the Intervate Web site
e. Modify or change the minimum system requirements for accessing the Intervate Web site
5. Privacy
a. Intervate will take all reasonable precautions to protect the personal information of users. Personal information is defined as per the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000
b. Intervate may collect, save, compile, share, disclose or sell any information collected from users, except under the following conditions:
i) Intervate will not disclose personal information about the user, without their prior consent
ii) Intervate will only disclose personal information after following due legal processes
c. Intervate may compile, use and share any and all information that does not relate to a specific individual
d. Intervate owns and retains all rights to non-personal statistics collected form the Web site
6. Hyperlinks to third party sites
a.Intervate may provide hyperlinks to external sites. These do not serve as endorsements and Intervate accepts no responsibility for the content illustrated on such sites
7. Security
a. Intervate shall take all reasonable precautions to protect the data on its Web site, as well as all information provided by and accessible to users. However, Intervate does not guarantee that any information is one hundred percent secure
b. Intervate is not under legal duress to encrypt content sent to or from the Intervate Web site. Similarly, Intervate is not bound to provide digital authentication of any page on its Web site
c. Under no circumstances may users deliver or try to deliver any malicious or damaging code to the Intervate Web site, server or network
i) Any person that does deliver such code to Intervate shall be prosecuted
ii) Intervate reserves the right to claim damages from any personal responsible for a security breach of Intervate's network, server or Web site
d. No user may develop or use a device designed to overcome the security measures implemented by Intervate
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
a. Intervate shall not accept liability for any damage, loss or liability resulting from:
i) Access to the Intervate Web site
ii) Access to hyperlinks contained on the Intervate Web site
iii) An inability to access the Intervate Web site
iv) An inability to access hyperlinks contained on the Intervate Web site
v) Content contained on the Intervate Web site
vi) The download of content available on the Intervate Web site
b. Information, ideas and opinions contained on the Intervate Website are not necessarily those of Intervate and should not be considered as such
c. Intervate does not guarantee that the content contained on its Web site will in all cases be true or free of any errors. While every effort will be made to ensure that content is true, users are encouraged to report any inaccuracies to Intervate

9. Removal and correction of content
a. Intervate undertakes to correct or remove all incorrect, defamatory, harmful and illegal content from its Web site. Again, users are encouraged to report any such material to Intervate
10. Agreement in terms of Section 21 of the ECT Act
a. The user and Intervate agree that:
i) Both are bound to the terms and conditions presented in this document. This agreement is concluded in Johannesburg, South Africa; at the time that the user enters the Intervate Web site
ii) Data messages sent to Intervate are deemed received only when responded to
11. Applicable and governing law
a. The Intervate Web site is hosted, controlled and operated from South Africa and is therefore governed by South African law
