Intervate won three Microsoft Partner Network Awards 2011, announced at the Microsoft Partner Summit Gala Dinner, at the Durban City Hall, on Tuesday, 18 October.
The enterprise information management specialist company was awarded Microsoft's Content Management Partner of the Year; Portals and Collaboration Partner of the Year; and the prestigious Customer Experience Partner of the Year business awards. These recognitions come after four consecutive years (2007 to 2010) of Intervate winning the Microsoft Information Worker Competency Partner of the Year award.
The Partner Network Awards 2011 honoured Microsoft's South African partners that have dominated the local market in delivering Microsoft solutions over the company's fiscal year 2011.
The criteria for each award is divided into six categories, namely: winning new customers, driving customer satisfaction, growing the business, innovation, enabling people and bonus factors. Each of these categories is assigned a weighting according to its importance for each award.
“The Microsoft Partner Awards recognise partners that have excelled in delivering Microsoft solutions throughout the year,” says Mark Reynolds, Director at Microsoft South Africa. “It is an opportunity for Microsoft, and our partners, to celebrate the achievements of companies that have had a significant positive impact on the market.”
Tracy Bolton, who heads the Information Worker (IW) division at Microsoft South Africa, said the awards underlined Intervate's status as one of the top systems integrators in the country.
“Intervate won the IW Competency Partner of the Year award for four years in a row. This year, we split the Information Worker award into separate specialised categories - and Intervate promptly won both the 'Portals and Collaboration' and the 'Content Management' awards!” said Bolton.
Leane Hannigan, Customer and Partner Experience lead at Microsoft South Africa, said Intervate's Customer Experience Award was “well-deserved recognition of the efforts Intervate has made in driving customer and staff experience and satisfaction”.
Intervate won't be resting on its laurels, says Intervate chairman Migal van As. “Although we are elated by these awards, we still plan many further steps to grow our IW practice, and prioritise and institutionalise a focus on customer experience throughout our business,” he said.
Intervate is a Microsoft Partner with Gold Content Management, Gold Portals and Collaboration, and Gold Digital Marketing Competencies.
